MUBS Erasmus+ Dissemination & Info Day 2023 - MEDID 2023

Under the Auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Education & Higher Education, Dr. Abbas Halabi, represented by Dr. Mazen Khatib, Acting Director General of H.E, Modern University for Business & Science (MUBS) organized the “MUBS Erasmus+ Dissemination & Info Day 2023 - MEDID 2023” on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Ministry of Education & Higher Education - UNESCO - Beirut.

The Erasmus+ program has been an instrumental force in nurturing academic collaboration, cultural understanding, and personal growth for countless individuals across the globe. By facilitating student and staff mobility, encouraging strategic partnerships, and supporting capacity building and innovative projects, Erasmus+ has become a beacon of hope and opportunity for aspiring learners.

MEDID was attended by 150 participants representing local and international universities, ministry staff, students, and stakeholders and the event constituted an invaluable platform to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore new avenues for Erasmus+ collaboration.

In addition to the presentations by the National Erasmus+ office discussing Erasmus+ opportunities for HEIs, organizations, and individuals, the event featured presentations by representatives of BAU, USJ, AUB, LU, USEK, and SCSL from Lebanon and Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland), University of Oldenburg (Germany), University of Alicante (Spain), Four Elements (Greece), City Unity College (Cyprus), Linnaeus University (Sweden), University of Dubrovnik (Croatia), Staffordshire University (United Kingdom), Princess Sumaya University of Technology (Jordan), and Arab International University (Syria).
The following Erasmus+ projects were disseminated during the event: MORALE, CONECTE, GLOB-SM, LEBPASS, ICARE, ELEGANT, and FREE.
